CPR Aministered by First Aid Trainend Ambulance Driver in Delhi
A First aid and CPR trained ambulance driver who was driving a private car came forward as an angel to a person who is driving his car with his family members, after the businessman suffered a massive cardiac arrest/heart attack on wheels. The prompt reaction of the First aid and CPR trained ambulance driver driving behind his car saves the life of the casualty.
The First aid and CPR trained ambulance driver saw a car in front of him started moving haphazardly and suddenly crashed in to the road divider. He immediately rushed towards the accident site and found the car driver unconscious. With the help of family members driver takes him out and started administering CPR immediately. He provides CPR until the emergency rescue team reaches the site of accident in Delhi.
Doctors at local hospital say if the First aid and CPR trained ambulance driver has not taken this action i.e. CPR in those first few seconds, the man would almost certainly have died due to severe heart attack - now he has greater chance of survival.
Doctors also added that credit should also be given to the ambulance staff who gave him advanced life support and continued First Aid and CPR treatment as he was taken to the Irvin hospital, where medical staff was ready to receive him and immediately take him into their expert care.
