What Are Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics and Why Do They Require First Aid Training?
The Government of NCT of Delhi established the Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinic scheme to deliver quality primary healthcare directly within communities - especially in underserved areas such as JJ Clusters, unauthorised colonies, and rural pockets where vulnerable populations have had limited access to medical services.
Each Mohalla Clinic provides curative care for common illnesses, first aid for injuries and burns, antenatal and postnatal services, nutritional counselling, and free essential medicines. Clinics operate Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Why First Aid Certification Is Essential for Mohalla Clinic Roles
Staff at Mohalla Clinics are expected to deliver immediate emergency response - from wound dressing and bleeding control to CPR and AED use. A recognised First Aid & CPR certificate demonstrates competency and is increasingly required by Delhi government health authorities as a hiring prerequisite.

Why Every Mohalla Clinic Worker Needs First Aid Training
Organised first aid has been practised globally since 1877 - but it has never been more critical than in community-level healthcare settings where the gap between a patient's crisis and hospital-level intervention can cost a life. Mohalla Clinic staff are often the first line of emergency response in their communities.
Immediate Life-Saving Response
Trained staff can manage cardiac arrest, severe bleeding, and shock before an ambulance arrives - dramatically improving patient outcomes.
Mandatory for Government Health Jobs
A valid First Aid & CPR certificate is increasingly listed as a required qualification for Mohalla Clinic and Delhi government primary health roles.
Internationally Recognised Certification
Our certificates are accepted by Indian government bodies, hospitals, and global organisations - making your qualification highly portable.
Serve Vulnerable Communities
Mohalla Clinics reach Delhi's most underserved populations. Certified staff are equipped to respond to emergencies that may otherwise go untreated.
AED & BLS Competency
Our courses cover Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and Basic Life Support - skills specifically required in primary care environments.
Career Advancement
Certified healthcare support staff command higher trust, better placement opportunities, and stronger career progression within the Delhi health system.
The CAB Framework: Core First Aid Principle Taught in Our Courses
Modern first aid protocols prioritise the CAB sequence - Circulation, Airway, Breathing - ensuring that critical life-saving interventions are performed before treating less serious injuries. This internationally standardised framework underpins every module of our training.
Circulation
Restore and maintain blood flow through chest compressions. Early high-quality compressions are the single most important intervention in cardiac arrest.
Airway
Ensure the airway is open and unobstructed. A blocked airway can render all other interventions ineffective within minutes.
Breathing
Deliver effective rescue breaths to supply oxygen to the brain and vital organs, maintaining viability until advanced medical care arrives.
